This ongoing project, launched on January 4, 2022, aims to deliver primary healthcare services to women living in remote and marginalized villages in Hebron. The initiative operates through a mobile clinic staffed by a dedicated healthcare team, including a gynecologist, general practitioner, midwife, two nurses, physical therapist, nutritionist, and psychologist.
The team coordinates with village councils, municipalities, or local health centers to secure a space for receiving and treating women. The mobile clinic is equipped with essential medical devices, including an ultrasound machine, blood pressure monitor, glucose monitor, and scale. Additionally, they carry basic medications such as painkillers, iron supplements, and vitamins, as well as supplies for urine testing.
This project provides free services to women of all ages, with a particular focus on primary care for pregnant women. Beyond treatment, the initiative promotes health awareness and follows up on patients, referring serious cases to hospitals when necessary.
By bringing essential healthcare directly to underserved communities, the project strives to improve women’s health outcomes and enhance access to vital medical services.
