Over the past 18 years, the Green Land Society for Health Development (GLSHD) has demonstrated a strong commitment to building the capacities of healthcare professionals across Palestine. Through its targeted training efforts, GLSHD has successfully designed, organized, and implemented more than 23 professional courses, carefully tailored to address the evolving needs of the health and rehabilitation sectors.

These courses were developed for a diverse range of professionals, including nurses, physiotherapists, and other allied health workers, and focused on key clinical and managerial areas such as:

Mobilization and Manual Therapy Techniques

Neurological and Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Pediatric Rehabilitation Approaches

Healthcare Management and Leadership Skills

Each course spanned five intensive days and incorporated a blended learning model, combining theoretical foundations with practical, hands-on training. These capacity-building programs significantly enhanced the knowledge, clinical competencies, and confidence of participating health professionals, contributing to improved service delivery in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and community health settings.

GLSHD’s long-standing role in professional development reflects its mission to advance healthcare standards, promote evidence-based practice, and empower the rehabilitation workforce to respond effectively to the growing health needs of the Palestinian population.
